Typical top 10 Clean with good facilities for campers but I decided to take a very over priced room with a shared bathroom.

We stayed in the brand new 3 bedroom hotel and loved it so much we decided to stay an extra night. Our 3 bdrm was booked, so we moved over to the 2 bdrm and it was just as fabulous! Wish all the hotels in New Zealand were this nice! Definitely worth the money!

To this point during our three month stay in New Zealand, we have become accustomed to accommodations that don't have quite as many amenities provided in similar places in the U.S. Then, there was Greymouth. The Top 10 Holiday Park was overall very nice. It was centrally located and the staff was very helpful with issues ranging from the Holiday Park itself to arranging various activities around the area. The only negative has probably been remedied and that was lack of internet access. The holiday park provided internet access, but during my stay, it was inoperable. Otherwise, the apartment in which we stayed was beautifully appointed with a relatively unobstructed view of the Tasman Sea. This was one of the nicest places I have stayed, period.

Greymouth is the largest town on the West Coast and has many activities. So, if you are in that region, it is likely you will find yourself in Greymouth; if you find yourself in Greymouth, the Top 10 Holiday Park will likely have the perfect accommodations for you. I highly recommend checking it out.

Perfect stop if your heading through Greymouth. There isn't much to see in Greymouth itself, so being on the beach is perfect.

Clean, well appointed and good value for money.

Great up to date amenities plus multiple kitchens and shower blocks so spreads everybody out and makes it seem a bit quiter than it really is.

    South, sun, sea and rocks

Today was probably the best day in the last week. A lot of this due to the sun coming out and the whole day played out under blue skies and amazing 20C heat. We made it a drive and stop kind of a day, with no particular activities planned, just mooching along and then stopping for a while before moving on again.

I got woken up at about 6 this morning by a load of screaming kids who seemed to think that running around the only tent on the campsite and tripping over my tent pegs and lines was good fun. There was a whole coach load of the little buggers running around screaming and shouting with the people in charge blowing whistles and …

What a great day – the sun is shining we have breakfast and head for Punakaiki, But first we head to Donaldsons café & grab a coffee – mmm the coffee is not very nice, possibly a tad better than the one we got from Wollombi Falls shop a few years ago. Lady was friendly enough so all good. Opposite the shop was a rugby field &# …
