We stayed in the brand new 3 bedroom hotel and loved it so much we decided to stay an extra night. Our 3 bdrm was booked, so we moved over to the 2 bdrm and it was just as fabulous! Wish all the hotels in New Zealand were this nice! Definitely worth the money!

To this point during our three month stay in New Zealand, we have become accustomed to accommodations that don't have quite as many amenities provided in similar places in the U.S. Then, there was Greymouth. The Top 10 Holiday Park was overall very nice. It was centrally located and the staff was very helpful with issues ranging from the Holiday Park itself to arranging various activities around the area. The only negative has probably been remedied and that was lack of internet access. The holiday park provided internet access, but during my stay, it was inoperable. Otherwise, the apartment in which we stayed was beautifully appointed with a relatively unobstructed view of the Tasman Sea. This was one of the nicest places I have stayed, period.

Greymouth is the largest town on the West Coast and has many activities. So, if you are in that region, it is likely you will find yourself in Greymouth; if you find yourself in Greymouth, the Top 10 Holiday Park will likely have the perfect accommodations for you. I highly recommend checking it out.

Perfect stop if your heading through Greymouth. There isn't much to see in Greymouth itself, so being on the beach is perfect.

Clean, well appointed and good value for money.

Great up to date amenities plus multiple kitchens and shower blocks so spreads everybody out and makes it seem a bit quiter than it really is.

I was awake from 3am worrying about the fact I had to wake up early, that worked!! The tour begins.......... Our first stop was the Tranz Alpine train taking us from Christchurch to Arthur's Pass. It was a luxury train compared to British Rail, had large clean windows to take in the views and a open carriage for viewing. Wow, it was worth the early …

After spending one day in a very rainy Picton I promptly hopped back on what turned out to be the scariest ferry crossing I have ever been on, to spend the week in Wellington. The weather forecast was set to be ghastly so I wanted to spend the week somewhere with lots to do inside! Wellington was nice, but just another city and very much like …

After a dreary drizzly dull day yesterday and lots of rain during the night we woke to a beautiful morning so set off early to see the Franz Josef Glacier. The 5.4 Km return walk along the dry rocky river bed was uncomfortably hot, tonight's weather report said 26 but it felt much hotter.

Absolutely worthwhile; the glacier, the waterfalls …
