American gps lady, didn't take us by the most direct route and took us through the back roads but it gave us an opportunity to see Connecticut, Maine and New Hampshire that you just don't see see from a highway. ... were 4 bus loads of tourists. Luckily for us the gondola before the one we went on had taken a bus load up. They can accommodate 86 passengers and they were crammed in like sardines. We had about 25 so it was very easy to see out the windows. Great views from the top. We had made our bread rolls in the car park before we caught the gondola and had a lovely view for our lunch time spot.
