This morning we woke to a frost. We couldn't empty our tanks as they had frozen overnight. We managed to fill the fresh water tank after I squeezed all the ice out of the hose!

We we travelled along the famous Route 66 until the historic town of Williams. This was a pretty little town which we hope to explore before we leave the area. …

I spent two days in the Grand Canyon and it was stunning. Sunset, sunrise, the scenery!
A friend and i walked down the Canyon for a day trip while the others visited the shops. I am so happy that we chose to walk the canyon, although we only walked down for an hour it took us nearly two hours to walk back up. It was beautiful non the less and …

As we were had stayed the night without any hook ups, it was easy to drive the 500 metres down the road to a swimming beach on Lake Powell. I wasn't game, neither was Mike but Katherine and the kids got in. The water was lovely and warm (I did paddle my feet) but the wind was icey cold. Back in the RV with everyone fully awake we headed back down …

This morning we were allowed a slightly later start as Arizona (the home of our next destination) doesn't observe Daylight Savings Time and is an hour behind Utah. We got packed up and left the ranch at 9:30am and after a few short stops arrived at a special surprise stop.

Our tour leader, Anniken, handed each of us brown paper bags and …

Nice showers cleaned 2x a day with free blowdryers is a plus. Guy's have a shaving station in theirs I'm told. They have a laundromat and clean facilities. The camp ground is large but cramped in. Freezing in April! There is a good sized general store with lots of healthy options but it is expensive, as to be expected. You may get 3G by the visitor's center if you are lucky.

Very efficiently run with great care for details. Rangers are most helpful. From beginning to end, these are people have great knowledge and problem solving skills. When enforcing the rules, the degree of professionalism and politeness is second to none. Top management downward must be congratulated for a job truly well done.
