Great place to stay! Williams is a part of the historic route 66 and although its a small town it offered some great shops and cafes. The RV park allowed us access to the adjacent hotel facilities which included the indoor pool and was a big bonus!

After an extremely hectic week of running around looking at Motor Homes, plus a little bit of tourism on the side, we have finally purchased a home for the next 11 months.

The RV is a 1994 Itasca Sundance Motor Home, it has 59,000 miles on the speedometer, and has been really well looked after. A big thanks to Margaret Holmes, who just …

Left the bright lights of Vegas the starry lights of the Grand Canyon. Picked up Juicy (our mini campervan) to find out it was very mini!!We made off from the Juicy Ranch! Via the Hoover Dam. Very unimpressed by the Hoover Dam much smaller than we expected however it was built over 50 years ago and the most impressive aspect of it was the elaborate …

This has been one of the greatest days of our trip so far, and certainly memorable! We rode Grand Canyon Train up to the south rim from our campground and had a marvelous ride. Since we don't plan to return any time soon we splurged on the upgraded car and tour. Worth every penny!

Prior to boarding we watched a group of "train robbers" …

Since we did the Grand Canyon in 1 day versus the 3 days we
were planning, we had to find something else to fill our time. We started
asking around and were told that Walnut Canyon was a must see. It is!

Walnut Canyon is about 7 miles east of Flagstaff. There are
a couple of short hikes. We were able to do both. On the first …

We are staying 5 days (3/13-18/14) in Williams which is between
I-40 and Route 66. Actually Route 66 runs right through Williams. It is a cute
little town about 40 miles west of Flagstaff and 60 miles south of the Grand
      Canyon.

Remember back in Jan, we were going to head towards the Grand
Canyon but checked the weather …
