After breakfast we were off again. First we drove through the old Fort Wolters. They have used a lot of the old buildings as business warehouses but also have revamped several and people now live in them. After that short drive, we made our way into town to visit the Crazy Water store. Crazy Water comes from a couple of the mineral wells in this area. There are four levels of water, just water, low medium and high. The story goes that in the mid 1800's, a woman with dementia was ...

Yesterday we drove up to Mineral Wells, TX with mom & dad. The main objective was to visit Clark Gardens. We did accomplish that today, but not as good as I had hoped. It rained this morning and the trails were muddy, although the sun was out by the time we arrived, and it was difficult for daddy to walk them. We would have stayed longer but they were sold out for the weekend. The park is just a one hour drive from Ft. Worth.

... the refrigerator 35, so guess it worked and we were safer not driving with the propane on.

The campground is not exactly in Mingus, it is just off I-20. The park is OK, not large, gravel sites, sat elite only in certain sites (and extra, I think). There are concrete patios, but since we pulled up far enough that we are right by the hook-ups, we're not at the patio. It rained here also and there are a few puddles around. The pool is very nice, although ...

We have made it as far as Mineral Wells. Time for a fuel stop and getting some fuel for the body too. The heat was terrible today. The sun is down and the ride should be a lot more comfy.
By the way, If you like a good burger, Mavericks is great. Ta ta for ...
