... and while they don't tend to live among us in the suburbs there are plenty of kangaroos on Australia). A short (and slow) drive later we arrived at our hotel, checked in and rejoiced at the sight of the large comfortable bed! So Monday October 12 was a monster day ... 36 hours and 2 sunsets. The adventure begins in earnest in the morning. But that's another blog for another day. Until next time Cheers, Tash Blog ...

I am also certain that we have the best food in the world. Most food ...

... SEA Today has been an interesting one. We had planned to walk the Cannonball Trail - 400 years of Norfolk and American history all wrapped up in a 2 hour walk along the waterfront and through Downtown Norfolk. Brian took one look at the waterfront and was "a goner". We spent the day looking at displays of naval history, visiting the USS Wisconsin (Whiskey for short) and taking a boat trip to the Naval  Station Norfolk. It was a gorgeous day but very ...

          Happy Thanksgiving!
Today was a family day. Our plan was to have our Thanksgiving dinner at Canaan Valley State Park, since we would be leaving right afterward to travel to Summersville, WV to Kerry's dad's house. The state park puts on a nice buffet with carving stations with lots of side dishes and a good selection of desserts- along with a wonderful view of the valley. They have been doing a lot of renovations there-I think ...
