We got what I am classing as half a critter – Peg spotted an armadillo right at the entrance to a side road; unfortunately it was dead. We are counting it as we had not seen one on this trip and it was still whole and recognizable.

          Fog and 52 degrees this morning - very refreshing. Got the propane tank filled and then headed southeast to Mansfield, home of Laura Ingalls and Almanzo Wilder for fifty plus years. The introductory video gave background and then we toured the farmhouse which they built and lived in for all but eight years.
