Day 1 - Friday night, we drove from spartanburg to gatlinburg and arrived at the river terrace. It was lightly snowing on our ride up and was it was still snowing when we got to gatlinburg. The weather here has been crazy cold - not unlike the cold that the north has been experiencing, but God - I'm 775 miles south of Toronto and like they say here in Tennessee - "it's colder that a witches tit in a brass bra laying face down in the snow". ... now I am stuck because its non refundable. Although I am not convinced I could have stayed in Gatlinburg anyway since its apparently the start of the big peeping season tomorrow.
