We spent a fun day in San Antonio yesterday doing all those interesting tourist things. The weather was beautiful -- hot and sunny, although rain is predicted for the next few days here. We visited the Alamo, which was built in 1724 and played a critical role in the Texas Revolution. ... So, the rest really is a baron desert **** hole? I said with my inside voice.

An hour outside of the park is San Antonio, which is where we spent our first day. A stroll along the river walk, through downtown and ended at the Alamo, where there was a bit of a tiff on who was going to control Texas. Lots of neat architecture and the history to go with it. Downtown ...

... and headed back to the room to reapply sunscreen and rehydrate. Back to the Wave pool where the Kelly's met up with us. After awhile there, we duplicated our morning with a trip down the Falls and a long while in the Alligator area. Late evening trip to a good Mexican restaurant finished off the day, and we all slept very soundly, with Natalie sleeping over again. A great day for ...
