... floods and devastation. A lot has happened while we've been away but we have been proud of the way our state has rebounded and are moving forward.

We're excited to be getting home tomorrow. We’ve been very fortunate through all our travels and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with our friends and family. We’re glad I wrote the blog because it’s already hard to remember some of the names of places we’ve been!

... the visitor centre is a museum and gift shop. What a great collection of antiques and an awesome gun collection. Impressive stuff especially notable the museum is free and survives on the purchases in the gift shop and donations. Worth the stop. With the heavy rain and thick fog, we opts against doing the Tail of the Dragon and chose to skirt around. This turned out to be a really nice ride through the forest into Pigeon Forge. ...

We printed maps and hiking trail descriptions, packed some snacks and water, hopped in the car and drove off. We navigated about 30 miles west of Rodgersville (heading away from the craziness in Bristol), passing mountains and ...

... a little basketball between rain. Ben, Josh and
Kait took a swim in the afternoon.

In the evening we went for our second
experience at playing Bingo in a Yogi camping ground. This time it
was candy bar Bingo and much more enjoyable. Mainly because it was
dry. It helped that we won more candy bars than we put in! The movie
that night wasn't interesting to us so we hung out in the RV and had
          an early night.
