The manager of the park greeted us and was very friendly. He personally showed us to our site and even backed the van in for us. He said that if he did it he would only do it in one move.

Very busy park, however enough space for just a campervan. Toilets and showers were clean with hot water. Would definitely stay here again!

Pretty Ordinary

Considering the rates they charge, this caravan park is pretty ordinary. There were lots of residents and the sites were really crowded. The facilities were very old and not in great condition.

Next morning, most of us weren't in a hurry to get out of bed, it was freezing cold. Bruce had got up and boiled the kettle and the aroma of hot coffee eventually enticed us to get up.
We had a lovely relaxing breakfast and the sun rose higher and started to take the chill out of the air.

We packed up and left the campground around 10: …

We went out to Stanley Chasm. Alice Springs is not what I thought It would be. But it is a very nice town after all. I had to drive at night through the town to find a petrol station but I did not find one got confused with the roads. Any way on the way back to the caravan park there was a fire on the side of the road through The Gap. Must have …

Today we packed up to leave Ayers Rock. We left with a little sadness knowing that this part of our country is unique and remarkable. We are becoming very efficient now in packing up the van. We drove 420km today to arrive at Alice Spring, but of course you know we did that earlier in our trip if you have been reading the blogs!!! We did stop at …
