    ... is almost unbearable.

    Getting through Little Rock was a bit challenging because we wanted to get off on the scenic routes. Lynne led the way and did a fabulous job. Our only snag on the back roads was a bit of rush hour traffic in one small town which meant more heat on the legs.

    We arrived at De Queen, Arkansas around 8 pm. Kathy and Wayne got a lovely room at the motel for under $50 so we decided to join them ...

    ... down a river 21/2 miles. We didn't flip, but I did 'flip out' a couple times at Cameron while we were learning how to paddle! It was lovely, but hot! Around 100 degrees! Laurie, Ricky, & their family left that night & within 10 minutes, I missed her! Phase 10 was played again & goodbyes were said to everyone because we left early the next morning! ...
