... flags and Convention 2015 is now officially started.

After the banquet, we sold convention raffle tickets for the free convention package ticket next year. In total, we sold $835 worth of tickets and Janet distributed bundles to District Directors to take back to sell to members. A great start to our convention.

... thank you cards to a few individuals, but she had received too many cards from Canada to send individual thank you notes. She was pleased when she realized we were all from Canada and she could thank us in person.

The group photo was held in front of the hotel at 6:00 pm and parade assembly was at 7:30 pm. We had an antique car and two bus loads of veterans and their families lead us to the veterans hospital. I went grocery shopping with Denise after lunch. We received an update from Lynne, our ADD (Assistant District Director) on the plans for the weekend.
