I went to see Jurassic World 3D with my parents. The movie tickets in this town are so cheap-- $12.75 for adults, $9 for seniors-- and that's for 3D!! There was live music across the street and overall a very good Friday night atmosphere in town! I thought the movie was very entertaining. The 3D aspect wasn't too astounding, like I never felt like the dinosaurs were right in front of me or coming towards me, but the creation of a theme park on screen was very exciting! Highly ...

Today was my last day of tutoring Alice, a Korean middle schooler I've been tutoring for the past 2 months! We put together an independent study plan for the summer, and I wished her well for the coming academic year and her life in the US of A! I watched some ...

Microbio was definitely one of the hardest blocks in 1st year due to the sheer amount of memorization, so this is great! It's a fun way to ease back into things.

So yeah! Time has been going by steadiliy. I've been very content and grateful with where I am!

... I'm kill myself trying to conform to this rule for the sake of conforming. I listened to my body more and honestly started slacking off a bit. I feel like I made less "progress" in the last 3 days as a result, but meditation is not really about getting somewhere, is it? Goenka said the way to tell if you are progressing or not is by your level of equanimity, state of balance. Feeling neutral about sensations and thoughts and not having craving or ...
