... so we headed back. IT'S a big city, lots of U turns ( the norm ) we ended up in Market Square, having had something to eat watching the world go by. A group of university students arrived on bicycles all dressed up in red white and blue and including their bicycles, with drums in tow. They entertained us for over hour. Tiredness got the better of us, so we headed back, watching the fire works as we drove back to our ...

... museum was better. We wanted to go to the Hillbilly Harley store but after getting our bikes out of the lot, driving through main street with all the stops from the traffic lights and pedestrians we arrived there to see they had no parking of their own and we'd have to pay again. Wow what a ride. I followed 16 to Rt. 58 at the Log Cabin Store in the pictures. Rt. 58 was a surprise because I was expecting rolling curves and country riding ...

They also had boiled peanuts, which Cheryl had wanted to try previously. We got a sample and they were not too bad, but not my favorite way of eating a peanut.

We bought some pumpkin butter and some produce but no peanuts. Cheryl also found a hand painted something or another, ...

... have fallen asleep. As we continued to wander down the main street of Gatlinburg I reminded Jerry that we were going downhill, meaning that we would be going uphill going back to the car. At that point we decided to turn around!

We got back to the car and then came on back to the RV. We rested, freshened up and took off to see the Day of Elijah. For some odd reason we had to be there at 5:00 but ...
