... lots of people up there trying to spot some whales, we where fortunate enough to see some way off in the distance but needed some binoculars. The beaches here are a lot like Walkerville South, beautiful sand with amazing rocks that jut out of the bluest ocean. Meanwhile darren was up the river catching us a very yummy dinner of flat head. Dimanche 25, on a visité la seule plage de Port Macquarie que l'on n'avait pas encore vue (après 3 semaines). La lighthouse beach. C'est la plus éloignée du centre-ville (9 km), mais aussi la plus longue car elle se rend jusqu'au Lac Cathie(voir blog précédent). On y retrouve aussi un phare (lighthouse) au Tacking Point.

... out alive and got on the pacific highway (2 hours after we started). It took us 5 hours to get to port maq and we checked into the port Macquarie backpackers. The place was a bit of a dump to be honest but the people in there were nice so they sorta made up for the room.
