This was the only campground in the area we wanted to be located. For the price we paid the sites were not level and ours at an angle and possible because we got there at the end of snow storm (mid April) it looked like it could have used some sprucing up. The people in the office were accommodating and nice.

Played at the playground and once again got in very late. Almost had a sad moment when we saw the full sign but that was for RV's there were a few tent spots left on a busy night and we got one of them.

We left for higher grounds and forgot that it also brought colder weather even thou we knew Flagstaff had snow the day before. We kept climbing up from 3200 feet to 7000 feet which included snow remaining on the ground.

We found our campground and it was quite different than the last one, more rustic. We got settled only to find that we …

Christmas Eve dawned early for us (Gary set the alarm!!!) so we could head up to Snowbowl for the first of our ski days. As you can imagine noone was more excited than Celyn especially as he had convinced us to ski a day early. Turns out it was a wise move as the ski field was quiet, the weather was perfect and we had a great day. Ernie (the camper …

... anticipating our first warm shower in a week and a half. I have to believe that the Radisson has a super duper hot water supply system, because there is no such thing as a short shower when you come off the river. The warm water pounding on your head and down your back is just heavenly, and practical too, after nothing but bone-chilling cold water for 10 days. Besides, it takes several wash and rinse cycles just to get the sand off your skin, ...
