Ok, this blog will tell you about my first whole week in Minnesota. The week was great but first we had to fly in from Orlando and drive to our old friends - Kendall and Hunter’s house. We have known them and their family for over 7 years and they are very close to us. After we had settled in at their house, we played in the backyard with their trampoline and the boxes it came in because their dad put it up just ...

We found Countrycampground after winding through downtown Detroit Lakes. Homes were built with a lake view and across the main road was the lake with docks for the homes. It was interesting how they were laid out. It looked like an ocean shore in SC - people laying out in the sun, building sand castles and swimming at 8:00 p.m. Jim found a rocking place for dinner called Zorbaz! Next morning we woke to the sound of rapid gunfire. A short distance away was the quick draw competition. Contestants, young and old, male and female, one win a wheelchair and one with one arm lined up, 5 at a time and drew and fired at a target which lit up. They scored for accuracy and time. Some had no score. It was an elimination until there were 2 left. They ...

    Detroit Lakes, MN

Traveled to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. We are staying overnight at Forest Hills RV Resort. The resort is located on a nice golf course. Unfortunately, the golf course is maintained with Toro and Jack equipment.

On our way to Detroit Lakes, we explored some of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes. We seen a lot of water fowl but that was really the extent of wildlife we encountered.

Chilled out the rest of the day.

... make sence she miss this adventure. I'm sure she didn't want to butt in. Well, I have bad news about the motorcycle. I put the speedo cable on, even though I wasn't going to, and it did not fix the problem. Now I need a speedo drive. Can't get one until next week. This might be a deal breaker for Chad and my trip. We ended the day playing cards, Phase 10. This is Brandon's game he taught ...
