Perfect spot for any Byron Bay travel. Right besides the beach and in the middle of town. No special stuff like pool or playground but then again, who needs that with the ocean and Byron Bay shops and restaurants so closeby?

I am 2 minutes late for the absolute sunrise. The alarm woke me in time but it took me a bit to find all gear and get dressed without switching on the lights. Finally, 20 minutes before sunrise, I left for my very early morning run. The first part of the 3.3km run was flat, all the rest uphill …

Oh, the sun is shining bright today. We get up late and enjoy not having to pack again. I do the washing while Andy cleans up our campervan. The children play on our bed. Everyone is happy. Yesterday evening, we stayed on the camping site and did not go for a birthday dinner. Instead, Andy wished …

I'm back from my morning run. I got up early to enjoy a short but faster run AND to be able to get a surprise for Andy, who celebrates his 40th birthday here in Australia ! But try getting a surprise at 7.15 in the morning and especially.. try getting balloons. I ran a fast 20 minutes along through …
