We had a nice drive up here on Sunday. We arrived and got set up just before the tornado warnings with severe thunderstorms befused with lightening and thunder. Needless to say we ate indoors. ... see paramedics giving somebody CPR. Its then that I turn to Aaron and we notice it’s the same man I had noticed earlier. It was so chilling to see what we saw, as the hostel hadn’t provided much of a barrier so that people couldn’t see what was going on. ... br> Sheila and I also took a walk along the St. Croix river. During our visit to Hinckley, we have seen a ton of deer (mostly along the road - scary) and a couple of bald eagles. While we were at the river, we seen some tracks that looked a lot like bear - or perhaps a big dog!!
Tomorrow is moving day and we head up north towards Canada.

Work up today to snow!! Sheila got a picture of me with snow on the jacket. We should have headed south, but despite the cold, the Northwood are very amazing beautiful. Sheila and I explored the North Shore of Minnesota from Duluth to Schroeder - about 100 miles. Our first stop was Duluth - at the Duluth Trading Company. Very expensive place.
Next stop was the lighthouse at Two Harbors. The lighthouse is still operating. We couldn't get in the building but we walked ...
