We had a nice drive up here on Sunday. We arrived and got set up just before the tornado warnings with severe thunderstorms befused with lightening and thunder. Needless to say we ate indoors. Bob took Meatball for a much needed walk in the middle of the storm and Meatball had a nice swim in the lake in the middle of it all. Thunder doesn't seem to …

Every 4th of July there are fireworks that are let off near the island we were at today, so we all jump back on the boat, rugged up because its cooler tonight, and off we go. We discovered that right under our nose under the picnic table was a robin's nest. I was always wondering why that robin hung round our camp all the time. Further inspection showed that the robin eggs had hatched and the robin was tending to her ...

... grounds. Then we headed for Gooseberry Falls. We hiked up to the upper falls and then followed the trail to the lower falls. There was a lot of people just chilling out by the falls. We even seen a cave man. See the attached picture.

We took a couple of other hikes around Beaver Bay and Silver Bay. Once we reached Schroeder, we stopped at the bridge to see yet another falls.

We had dinner on our way back to Hinckley.
