Today, we took a trip to Roseville - outside of Minneapolis for a little shopping. They have an REI there and we picked up a backpack and walking sticks. We found that walking sticks worked well in Hawaii and after yesterday's hiking, they would work well on the Mainland.

We also explored around the campsite. Our campground is located right on the banks of the St. Croix river. In fact, if you were ...

Work up today to snow!! Sheila got a picture of me with snow on the jacket. We should have headed south, but despite the cold, the Northwood are very amazing beautiful. Sheila and I explored the North Shore of Minnesota from Duluth to Schroeder - about 100 miles. Our first stop was Duluth - at the Duluth Trading Company. Very expensive place.

... deliveries and that took a good 45 minutes... Once we sent Deb off on her way I went and did the chicken chores! Water filling, giving them some scraps, and then collecting the eggs! Because I didn't collect any yesterday, in total there were 30 eggs! Yeah! Go girls!! Lay them eggs!! :) I never get bored of watching them run up to me when I have food to give them. The way the run is just so hilarious. It took me a good hour and a bit to finish up all my chicken and ...

... bought a Duluth t-shirt and then found a cute little Moose stuffed animal! I love all the critters found here in Minnesota - and I would love to see a real moose but apparently they're declining dramatically because of some parasite getting into their brains... Poor things. I've heard they are massive animals though! We then went into the Rocky Mountain chocolate factory which was an awesome chocolate shop! As you walk in the door that smell of chocolate hits ...
