I was up around 6 - somehow woke up and could not fall back to sleep.
We finished breakfast before 9 and got ready to go to Taha'a before 9:30. The motor boat took us over directly to the car rental place. It was a pretty quick ride. The rental car was manual and Bob was the driver. It was a Toyota with 3 rows of seats, but not much bigger than a sedan, with no trunk space. I don't think we have this kind of car in the States. The 14-day cruise seemed to have gone by in a blink. Today when we woke up at 6am, our ship already docked at Papeete where we boarded the ship 14 days ago. Our 2 big suitcases were already taken down and we have some small packing to do in the morning. We had breakfast around 7 and left the room before 8. We left Raiatea, the 2nd biggest island of the Society Islands, behind and arrived on Huahine around sunset. There we were picked up by Christelle Tetumu and two of her girls, who quickly loaded our bags and off we were driving through darkening Huahine. Through the French couple from Sunset Beach, Lucile & David, we were knew that if we bought the necessary ingredients they family of Hiva Plage Camping, Terii, Christelle and their kids, would tell us how to make ...
