LEFT OUT FROM OUR CHURCH AROUND 9:30 AM
FRIDAY MORNING AND GOT BACK HOME ABOUT

I FOUND PHYSICALLY I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR

... yourself for 125 miles over the rollling hills which our guide notes say "will prove challenging"?

Yeah, me too. And that's the problem from now until the end. I''m ready to have a rest from the bike. I feel I've proved I can suffer! I've ridden over 2,500 miles. I'd like to hire a car and drive to Charleston. But, I can't give up now. I have to finish the mission! David says ...

... 8230;…he must have had the week off. Everyone we met treated us as well as we treated them. I did not feel alienated or anything like that in France. Everyone treated us well. We did try to initiate things in French, being able to say hello and ask if they spoke English in French went a long way. The verdict on the rude French, MYTH.

After dinner at a Mexican restaurant (they are the same everywhere you go), we met four guys doing the TAT that were actively enlisted in the military. We joked and laughed over a drink hanging out by the pool. One of the guys mentioned that 20mins into the ride, he pulled over and sent his wife a ...

Wonderful Time at Our Ladies Retreat

What can I say... The weather was beautiful; We stayed at one of the Group Cabins It was well kept and it was just the right size for our group. We went down to the bottom of the Falls (one needs to be in pretty good health to take this hike) .The trail along the way was very pretty .We roasted marshmellows that night and. also, we had a visitor... a raccoon! Some of the ladies saw deer earlier in the day. All in all, made for a wonderful time together.
