... 7506; F in here. Yeah…I’m chilly. I’m going to relish this since we haven’t had this since I can’t remember when! It is so nice not to have the air conditioner running constantly. I have my morning coffee and watch the chipmunks playing outside the window. The Magpies are have fun as well and making a racket. This is the kind of noise I like to hear, not horns or diesel engines or sirens or kids running out of control. ...

... the town and of the San Juan Mountains is beautiful. All of those views made us thirsty, but we couldn’t find a place in town where we could bring the dogs that wasn’t roasting in direct sunlight. We found a bottle-O, bought some beers and walked over to the river. We found some seating (logs) under some shade (big tree) and we enjoyed our adult beverages. The girls, once again, enjoyed getting wet. 2 weeks and only dirt baths…..

I got a cup of coffee and a cinnamon & sugar crepe. That took a while and we lingered and it was wonderful. Red, Leash and ...

... least the actual outlook usually did.

There was 2 hot spring pools close to where we were staying. One of them was bathing suit optional and as much as we tried to convince the boys it would be funny to go they couldn't see the humor in it at all! They thought we were we nuts! We thought if we were going to do it, better in a town where we wouldn't see anyone ...

... it was getting dark and starting to rain, so we decided that we should drive back to Ouray. We turned around and drove the same road back. All too soon we were back on paved roads again. We came to an overlook of the town of Ouray. It was dark then, and all of the lights were on in Ouray. It was a neat view. Then we drove back to our hotel/cabin, ready to go out again the next day!
