... it was one of the most beautiful places we've been yet, and both Amy and David felt the pull of the Sawtooth Valley. John showed us a hot spring along the edge of the river, then they turned around and we continued to Sunbeam. We were in a big group of rafters and kayakers, and shared our raft with three other people and our wonderful guide Emma. It was so much fun. ... We also got to see some of the local music talent at the Redfish Lodge and had an extended evening with some fellow car campers who had been on the road for over 5 months. Chris enjoyed some east coast banter with his new found friend from NYC who was just about relocate to Seattle. The complaints of west coast pizza, bagels and sandwiches were predictable.

... for breaky and they had the waffle maker...awesome way to start the day....sad thing is I had to give a guy instructions on how to use it....seriously....I thought it was tard proof...apparently not....he did have a drawl....draw your own conclusions.
