    Mike and I had been staying in the caravan while Jackie, Paul and Cookie had graciously opted to sleep in the tent... Maybe not next time though! We woke in the morning to a bit of a frost.... To say the least.. Even in the caravan it was decidedly cold.. Jackies first words on opening the door to hustle inside were a heartfelt 'fooking hell!' Warmed ...

    ... So we left Crescent City and drove into the Prairie Redwoods National Park.


    26th October - Eureka
    Today we stop we went to Fern Canyon. Some parts of Jurassic Park 2 were
    filmed here. It was impressive. Fern grows down the little canyon, and a
    stream flows by.
    You could feel the dinosaurs that ran around some decades ago.

    ... north of Lucca in Fornovolasco who we want to visit. Then for our last three days we stay in an apartment in Rome and fly home from there.

    Wine Tasting and Sauna

    ... to get started. We had to locate the correct oak barrel and move a bunch of carboys of wine. Then we arm wrestled for a while and talked about St. Patick's Day plans. Finally we tasted the two Syrahs. The one he is doing the new thing with is phenomenal. Watch out for Le Vin's new stuff.

    Back at the house, we listened to Slumdog Millionaire again and turned up the sauna. I played some speed card games with Mercedes. ...
