The trail wasn't marked very well, but we managed to stay on the right one and saw some beautiful trees. We could tell there had been a fire at some point, there were quite a few trees with burn marks on them. The hike took about 2.5 hours and we were pretty tired when we finished.

We we got back on the road and made a couple more ...

... The weather was beautiful and warm, which made the dust fly everywhere as we undertook the gruelling task.. It was so bad that we had to make a couple of beer stops to refresh ourselves.... Eventually we got it finished. Or at least all if the nets out of the rows.. Then, after a tidy up, we set of back down to ...

... As the name implies we saw fat ones:

The road is small and we drove past tall, big trees. I cannot say more or describe it better. It is just breathtaking. We couldn't decide which tree is higher and more beautiful.
Tree- huggers would have a big problem here :-)

... in Venice was a highlight because it was something I wanted to do for a long time, fulfilling a dream is always a highlight.

I would have to say that my favorite dish I had in Italy was a Papparadelle pasta with Wild Boar Sauce. It was at a restaurant in Taveranelle, close to the Villa. I had it at the lunch we had before going to the meeting. Although it’s hard to just pick one dish, there were many!!

My only regret? I wish I would of bought ...

... a couple times in between. It was great hydro-therapy. I'm going to miss the sauna. They all can't believe how long I can stay in and high temp I like. Showers took a long time but Matt cooked some pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and broccoli. It was 1:00 am so we were ready to eat again. We watched a bit more of Across the Universe until after 2:00 and Eric got home. Then it was back to The Inn for me for the last night before the weekend guests arrive.
