... had piled up where the sand meets the smooth beach rocks and it alone is awesome to see. We then walked along this little beach putting our hands in the sand and water and taking pictures of the amazing beach creatures. The rocks that jutted up out of the sand were covered in mussels, coral and barnacles. If you leaned your ear down close to the rocks you could hear faint popping and sizzling as the sea life thrived. There were star fish latched on to the bottom ...

We had all agreed to take a break from pruning today since we finished the Cab, other than corrections. They will tackle the Merlot after I leave. We didn't finish until 11:30 and it broke up pretty quickly. Jen, Nicole, Mercedes and I talked in the hot tub for a bit and the rest went to bed. Then Jen and I moved down to the Inn. It felt weird giving up my spot in the house, but it is nice to have our own space as well. I couldn't blog last night so Jen and I sat up and talked boys until 2:00 am.
