    For our US-friends:
    After a very cold evening at the beach, we put all our gear on (inclusive underwear and windbreaker) and got on our bikes for our last ride. And what happened? It wasn't that cold. 63 degrees at the beach in Bandon! So we had to take some of the clothes off again, and on the way to Eugene we could take off all the warming stuff.

    ... like he was a human but he was nice to them anyway. Usually, when we return from a trip, the cats are indignant. They act like they don’t know us and will stay gone for hours at a time. This time, they both came running, flopping around and purring. Again, thank you Patrick!

    ... I took care of the other one. Jan was outside mowing her lawn, but took some time to set us up with some cheese, chips and wine as a snack before heading over to Bev’s for dinner. We hadn’t eaten since breakfast so we were all pretty hungry. Bev made a chicken noodle dish that was great. She also cooked up our trout for us to have with dinner.
