Hi all, we spent 4 nights in Port Macquarie staying at the Breakwall Caravan Park which is located right near the beach (and the Breakwall). The weather wasn't great, rained at times so we chilled out at a movie but once the rain cleared we could get out and about on our bikes, rode to the lighthouse - which of course is on the top of a hill, rode out thru the beautiful big homes on the canal and took the barge across to "North Shore" and had a ...

I note down a few of the places he suggests, although he comes from Brisbane and is pretty jaded about it there! I hope that is just overfamiliarity with his home ...

... as the bed shook to our room mates snores, we both circummed to that familiar soporific motion and were soon snoozing happily. Waking we found the bus empty of passengers, parked up, and no driver present. Had we been driven to the terminal? Had we missed the Harbour Bridge? No! The bus had broken down, the driver was trying to fix it and the passengers had climbed off to get some fresh air. This is the 4th break down in the 3 weeks we've ...
