The Georgia Aquarium is simply amazing. I had heard it was great and that it was the biggest in the world but it truly was far more than I expected.

All the exhibits are phenomenal but the Ocean Voyager area was overwhelming - the length of a football field and more than 60 feet wide, it holds 6.3 million gallons of water. ... which are just outside Athens... They ar stunning, and free a beautiful tropical greenhouse, a herb garden and a Physic garden... Then an international, flower, shade, native, an old fashioned settlers garden and a lovely group of sculptures at the visitor center. We could have stayed much longer. But as it was the end of the day we went to a converted garage called Teds for pizza, Happy Hour Beer at 2:50 and pizza... It's was nice as we could sit outside and people ...

    Drive to Atlanta

It was our last day in Savannah...boo hoo! We woke up to another beautiful blue sky but hotter day....it's to reach 30 today and it's muggy again. We walked down Liberty St to J Christopher's for breakfast...sat outside which was nice but the breakfast was only so-so. Guess we are spoiled at home with even White Spot let alone the brunches that are available. We left around 10:30 ...
