Dixie and I went on yet another adventure to the Town of Owls Head, Maine capturing the true heart of this Coastal Community. Lobster. We learned that the Lobstermen of these parts pull out there Lobster traps and buoys just before winter because of the harsh weather conditions consistently staying in the teens and well into the negative temperatures. Most Lobstermen pull up these traps by hand hence why its absolutely understandable why they are all stacked on this ...

With the temp in the 20s all day we are READY to get going. Still getting things loaded in the RV and have scheduled eye doctor and dentist visits to be as sure as we can be that we are healthy and ready for several months 'out of Dodge'.

Our 2006 Navion H is ready to go, all systems are go and we have a place for everything we will be bringing.

... go to Bath, a small port town which was lovely. Had enough and had to go to the bathroom so headed back. Had a cup of team relaxed on the porch and waited for dinner. ... took over the photos. We then drove to boothbay shopping area which was so quaint. Went into a shop which sold wind chimes, but decided to wait for the factory direct to buy. Then we drove to the lighthouse but it was so foggy that we didn't go through - no point. We then drove to the wind chimes factory. It was only $1 cheaper but she was great and very informative. ... cute, and it being August in Maine. We feel like we're missing something though, that BBH can't possibly be this tiny.

So we take a few more roads, thinking it will loop us around, but everywhere we go we hit water. That's because Boothbay sits on one of Maine's numerous fingers out into the ocean. Everywhere you go, you DO hit water....
