... rolls and chowda’ at Cappys Camden Chowder House, we tour the town taking in the sights such as the Megunticook River running through the middle of town, under a building and down a series of falls to the harbor. While hanging out in the park we spy a statue of the poet Edna St. Vincent Milay. We also scrutinize some ducks sporting a strange hairdo that Casey immediately calls “Elvis Ducks”.

... the shoreline road, inspecting tidal pools, soaking in the sun, and enjoying the ocean breezes. Casey falls in love with many of the shore-side homes – their appealing architecture, well-tended gardens and landscaping and the fantastic views. Wow, what a place to “get stuck”! It is just a perfectly beautiful part of Maine and so worth the side trip.

... round camps that they visit on weekends and TONS of things for people to do. Mini golf, basket ball, baseball, tennis, two pool, 3 hot tubs, a big lake, sailing, fishing, a game room, restaurant, etc., etc....
He was a love and went and did the laundry for us while I laid around on a heating pad. (Boo!)

... opted for a trip to Freeport where there is an outlet mall village. The guys were absolutely thrilled with the plans!. Being the kind and loving wives we are, we agreed to walk the malls on our own and meet back at the car in 2 hours. Had a successful shopping trip and got back at the car 10 minutes early just in the case the guys were back waiting. ... in the day. Fortunately we were early enough to get seats up top. The trip out and back to Easter egg island was gorgeous on a summer evening. The island is close ton Monhegan. We saw numerous porpoises and seals, two very cool man of war jelly fish ( they float on the water and look like aliens...sort of a silver balloon),and a beautiful sunfish floating right below the surface. The island was interesting...naturalists ...
