Amenities we're clean but this big name park is very badly designed for caravans, as well as too busy.

The Park catered so well to so many, it is incredible how every one fitted in, absolutely packed and yet good access to amenities. Well appointed amenities. Would recommend this place anytime. Very close to the places of interest, the free range zoo, observatory etc.

Nice and clean cp, the local aboriginal guy/caretaker was really nice and helpful, especially when we had to reverse the van into the site, next time we will get a drive thru.

Nice and close to the zoo and town of Dubbo.

After a very pleasant stay at Sandy Hollow we made a leisurely exit from the park and headed along the Golden Highway toward Dubbo. This leg of the journey was very enjoyable with stops at Merriwa for lunch and a rest, and Dunedoo to fill up with petrol.

It's small enough to walk everywhere but big enough that everything you need is at hand. It's a busy city with lots of culture, happy people and lots to entertain. We stayed over a weekend ...
