Great place, great home base for area

Great place to stay and tour the area. Cabins (Pods) are modern, large, and have floor to ceiling windows on three sides perfect for a honeymoon. Although the rooms are very clean don't expect your bed to be made perfectly - this is not a 'motel' and your cleaners are not 'maids' :-) Need reservations for weekend as they are packed with country music festivalers lots of it around Saturday nite. Cannot make same day res online must be in person.

Beautiful day for touring. went just under 200 miles (tank of gas) with no rain! Stopped to take some photo's off a bridge and coming back I heard the rushing of water over rocks, birds chirping and I though heck with this mush lets get riding again. The route I was following told me to go right onto a little lane full of waster, dirt and rocks. A …

... but the magic show was cancelled, bummer). Tricia and I entertained Jim with a synchronized kayaking display - it was quite a lovely thing! Had dinner in the cabin and I slept on the pull out couch - very comfy!

Sunday morning Jim drove to a place to dig crystals on his way to Austin, and Tricia and I drove to Devil's Den State Park in West Fork, AR to find more adventure!

Again this morning it was raining. Undeterred, I put on my rain gear and proceeded to ride on a 214 mile tour today. The rain stopped within 15 mins and I was more wet inside my rain clothes just from heat and perspiration. Thank heaven for stay dry t-shirts! Was a great riding trip with every kind of curve/hill imaginable. One curve I felt ...

... So as I said the rain came and soaked me. I abandoned my road trip and headed for the caves again. There was another trip I could take. By the time I got to the caverns the rain had stopped so I decided to take a walk around the grounds with Mrs Robinson :-) Pictures attached.
Got on my road trip but the GPS started acting up and I had to find my way bak home (sigh).
    Tomorrow road tripping again.

... ride down 240 feet. Somehow no one complained.
The US Department of Agriculture owns the cave and the surrounding park and have made the cave and the cave decorations (stalactites/stalagmites, flowstone, rimstone dams etc.) very accessible allowing the visitor to come quite close and have the opportunity to take some fantastic shots. The cave has huge rooms and walking ramps are all over allowing ...
