Beautiful day for touring. went just under 200 miles (tank of gas) with no rain! Stopped to take some photo's off a bridge and coming back I heard the rushing of water over rocks, birds chirping and I though heck with this mush lets get riding again. The route I was following told me to go right onto a little lane full of waster, dirt and rocks. A …
... stroll around the downtown area which seemed to be all Antique (2nd hand) shops and bought a CD from one of them. It was one from my childhood, Roger Miller's 'King of the Road'. I can;t wait until I can get home and play it.
Have attached pictures of my current residence. I will be staying an extra day because I like the area and my residence.
... So as I said the rain came and soaked me. I abandoned my road trip and headed for the caves again. There was another trip I could take. By the time I got to the caverns the rain had stopped so I decided to take a walk around the grounds with Mrs Robinson :-) Pictures attached.
Got on my road trip but the GPS started acting up and I had to find my way bak home (sigh).
Tomorrow road tripping again.
... to stop any spreading of the disease.
I am in a two star motel tonight and hopefully tomorrow I will move into a more rustic Park cabin just for the experience .
Supper tonight was some more fantastic Mexican, no food shots because there was so much and people would start calling me piggy.. After that a walk around the town square listening to a couple of Bluegrass bands play. Nice end to the day.

The Mountain View lot is at a fairgrounds tucked back in a neighborhood. It's funny; I remember the somewhat sharp turn onto the street to get to the lot, but I don't recognize the lot at all. I think last season a good number of us missed it and/or jumped the curb when turning onto the road but thankfully this year I was ready for it.

Great place to stay and tour the area. Cabins (Pods) are modern, large, and have floor to ceiling windows on three sides perfect for a honeymoon. Although the rooms are very clean don't expect your bed to be made perfectly - this is not a 'motel' and your cleaners are not 'maids' :-) Need reservations for weekend as they are packed with country music festivalers lots of it around Saturday nite. Cannot make same day res online must be in person.
