We were surprised this campground!! We have driven across America from California & stayed in 25 campgrounds!! We think it's the best campground in Door County & in a great location for exploring all this area has to offer it's visitors! We stayed here in September after the Labor Day Week-end, so we had a nice quiet visit here. We'd absolutely stay here again, when we come back to Door County!

Whew, we made it with time to enjoy the sunset.

Don't want to leave out that Wisconsin is the frozen custard capital in the US. We may have to roll ourselves home in 2 months. (But loving every minute of it) Life is ...

Not something I generally worry about, but I was glad she mentioned it because they were indeed out and about, lurking by the side of the road. It's very rural out here.

Door County has two sides, the Bay side and the 'Quiet' side (or Lake side). Baileys Harbor, our home for the last few days, is on the Quiet Side. The ...

Dry land awaited us in Milwaukee. Today was mostly about getting somewhere. It was a pleasant drive, but not a remarkable one. Though we did cross the 44th Parallel for the fifth time ...

During this time and shortly after, Menominee boasted an opera house, which is now being restored. In the 1910s a cycle car, the "Dudly Bug", was manufactured in Menominee. In the waning years ...
