We were surprised this campground!! We have driven across America from California & stayed in 25 campgrounds!! We think it's the best campground in Door County & in a great location for exploring all this area has to offer it's visitors! We stayed here in September after the Labor Day Week-end, so we had a nice quiet visit here. We'd absolutely stay here again, when we come back to Door County!

This morning we walked in Toft Point Natural Area, through stands of old-growth white pines. Then we took the ferry across Death's Door to Washington Island, where I managed to find a yarn shop having a sale. It was a good way to end our stay. Tomorrow we head south to Green Bay and start northward to the Upper Peninsula and Lake ...
