Away for a couple of days to Adelaide, visit the specialist about my shoulder, 6 monthly dental checks and lastly to get our dose of the ocean and beach...

Traveled 252ks over to Semaphore park, stayed there in a little cabin, Merv made quite a joke of the fact that I had paid a lot more for this accommodation than where we normally stay, …

Good morning possums. We got up fairly late and had a leisurely breakfast. It was hot again today, clear blue sky weather. We caught the bus, the 157, into the city to meet Jack as we needed to sort out a few things for him. It was great to be with Jay on the bus as the last time I had done this journey had been on my own. That done we all headed …

It was so good to wake up next to Jay this morning. It was a glorious morning for both of us. We are so happy to be here together in Australia, the best country in the world. The weather was also glorious today, clear blue sky again and getting up to 34 degrees. After a leisurely brekky we went down to the beach and walked along paddling in the sea …

I hardly had any sleep last night as I was so excited! This is the day that Jay arrives and I'm picking her up from the airport later on. The day was spent just chilling, tracking Jays flight in from Singapore on the internet and getting more and more excited as the day went on. Jay is flying in with her son, Jack, who is going off on his own …

It's a lovely morning again. Only 1 sleep to go now. I cleaned the camper first thing and then went shopping to get food from Woolworths and some other things for Jay. She arrives in Australia tomorrow!! My excitement is at fever pitch!!!! Later on I went for a walk down the beach paddling in the sea. I was dreaming of doing this hand in hand with …

Overpriced

The lady that booked us in was lovely, helpful and friendly. the cabin we booked cost $119, the inside was very old, to shut the bathroom door which was an old swollen wooden door, you had to lift it up and drag it closed, i was worried I might not be able to open it again and be shut in the bathroom, it took a bit of force. the bed and linen was all clean, no problems with cleanliness. I think it could have been cheaper, we stayed after this another night in different part of adelaide, in delux room, whichwas magnificent, very modern, spacious for only $97. i think the cabin was way over priced.
