The lady that booked us in was lovely, helpful and friendly. the cabin we booked cost $119, the inside was very old, to shut the bathroom door which was an old swollen wooden door, you had to lift it up and drag it closed, i was worried I might not be able to open it again and be shut in the bathroom, it took a bit of force. the bed and linen was all clean, no problems with cleanliness. I think it could have been cheaper, we stayed after this another night in different part of adelaide, in delux room, whichwas magnificent, very modern, spacious for only $97. i think the cabin was way over priced.

The kids were thrilled to wake up on our first morning in Adelaide to discover that Grandad was in the caravan and was going to spend the weekend with us! Kayleigh was keen to take Grandad to a farm. So we planned a day trip through the Adelaide Hills for a farm visit. First we stopped at Gumeracha to climb to the top of the Big Rocking horse (over …

We retraced our drive down the Stuart highway back to Port Augusta and then onto Adelaide. The night before arriving at Adelaide we stayed at Parham Point, a little beach town about 60 km north of Adelaide. The campground was great and we had a huge downpour of rain during the afternoon and the night. Just what we needed to clean the van and the …

Traveled 252ks over to Semaphore park, stayed there in a little cabin, Merv made quite a joke of the fact that I had paid a lot more for this accommodation than where we normally stay, …

Had my guitar here from last visit and travelling with my little ukulele so doing lots of music practice and generally chilling out, going to yoga classes and kirtan (they have amazing kirtan here :) and going to the beach. Also got membership to a wildlife centre in the hills where they look after orphaned koalas, so going to make that a regular trip! Love ...

... hills and had dinner at a restaurant near their place in Paradise (it’s an Adelaide suburb).

Next day, Saturday, we decided to head down to Glen Elg to spend some time on the beach, since it was supposed to get warmer. Weather had been very nice, but highs of only around 20 & it was to get up to 26. It was also Christmas Pageant (Santa Claus Parade) day in Adelaide, so ...
