    We found a road leading to the Original Trail of Tears which was a route taken by the Cherokee Indians westward when they were displaced from their lands in the east providing the white settlers with very fertile farming land.

    On the banks of the Ohio River we had our lunch. Sky still clear and almost cloudless.

    Still dark at 7.30 am. Rain falling when we woke and still falling lightly as we left. Getting closer to the western edge of the eastern time zone so daylight hours are later.

    Arrived early and got our pick of sites. We got this one right on the lake. At dusk, the family of skunks would come out to enjoy the fallen crab apples on the tree in our site. The sunsets were gorgeous! We met Puff the Purple Dragon on the beach! Loved the water tower.

    We ventured out of Chester this morning competing for space on the highway for 8 miles with monstrous coal trucks!!!
