    ... rose over the top of the mountain and the crowds exploded! Chloe was seriously frozen solid so we took time out to defrost in the café with a hot chocolate and peanut butter chocolate bar. Everyone regrouped and we braved the crowds for a couple more runs and then left by 2pm to escape the mass exodus and avoid the traffic chaos back to Seattle.

    Another amazing experience to add to our Aitken Adventure list!

    Next bring on some sunshine in California.......

    ... through Seattle and got a run down of Several great rides . . . I grabbed my map and we hilited the routes.

    I picked a point and found a McDonald's which is my standard evening ritual. I order a $1 pop and use their free wi-fi and look up hotels and booked one 30 miles from where I was. I was driving thru a nice suburban area and crested a hill and saw Mount Ranier . . . Awesome!

We had a lot to catch up on like how Spain went, how I had been feeling during the day, how I would probably **** a lot during the next section, and how she had been summiting mountains faster than I could count.
