    On the 3rd of May our team travelled to Hornsby National Park to go on the training hike in order to prepare for our expedition. When we first arrived we sent Joey and Claudia to Woolworth's to buy food for our 2 day trip and the rest planned the day ahead. Our other internal US flights had all been American, but this one was Delta as it's the only nonstop flight to LA from New Orleans (American goes via Dallas).     ... Yes, of course, free beds in Umina helps but our campsite in Bulahdelah is only $20!!! At the Umina Beach Hotel, Jane paid only $7 for 2 schooners of Tooheys Old: half the price in most places in WA (alright, it was happy hour). Our meal tonight in the Plough Inn was huge and only $53 for the four of us. As I said, the land of milk and honey!!!
