... some clothes, brought another bag (Collis did too) and then grabbed a Starbucks before coming to the hotel. It's a relatively small place, we can't decide if it's a chain hotel or not - but it's decent, safe feeling - has a hot tub that we won't be using because it's freezing! (Temperature fluctuations are endless) The room is nice too, very big! We've each got a double bed plus we've got a seating area, a fridge, ...

Our guided tour lasted about 40 minutes, and while we were a little disappointed with our limited view of the castle rooms (we were on the Grand Rooms tour and we got to see a living room, dining room, pool table room, and a movie theatre), the castle was impressive. We only had time for the wine cellar, holiday cottages and kitchen but with an informative guide the place was ...

... beautiful and fresh with really cute fittings. Just outside the entry is a mill with a water wheel and the trees leading to it all decorated with fairy lights. After checking in I just wandered about the hotel drinking it all in. Gift shop was really cute too, trouble is lots of the stuff for sale was breakable so didn't finish up buying anything. Clearly the yanks take St Patricks day a lot more seriously than we do, noted it ...

... over to our table and handed us a ten dollar bill with a coin on a card insisting they paid for my dessert as they could see we had been travelling hard. The card was about spreading happiness by showing an act of random kindness.Freaked me out a bit. I knew we were going to enjoy it here and as our next stop tomorrow was an hour and forty five minutes away, decided to spend the morning in the pool and leave at midday. Time to slow this holiday down and enjoy. A good night sleep was had by ...
