    While driving yesterday we killed our first bird via the camper windshield just before we cross the Mackinaw Bridge. The bridge is 5 miles long and was under construction.     ... cooked on foil on the BBQ and served on a piece of wood...and eaten with our hands.. It will be an early night as the mosquitoes are huge and hungry and there isn't much else to do...we are sitting by a fire and it's getting dark. We are having a bit of wine...Ron filled his beer bottle once it was empty and I'm using my Snapple bottle...but we just realized we have the wine glasses from the wedding...too late...     ... We saw swans, ducks, loons, and the workings of a pretty hefty woodpecker. I think the rain kept much of the wildlife under cover, but we enjoyed it anyways. Wish we found this sooner. When we were done, the rain was really coming down pretty good so we headed back to our campsite.....it was thundering/lightening too, but it didn't keep ...
