... through. When we got close to Mount Dora the scenery became very pretty. There were lakes on either side of the road and beautiful homes. Richard lucked out and found a downtown parking spot as many of the normal parking places and streets were to be closed at 4 pm for the Mount Dora Christmas Walk. ... we got to Ukulele's the others was already eating, we didn't bother as we had had a burger at the Sail inn, however Fred and the guys gave us their fresh peel n eat shrimps and onion rings so we didn't need anything else. After a few beers we set off for home, Dan and Michelle came with we and we spent the rest of the evening chatting and drinking sitting out on the pool deck. Great day, only one more to go ...

... are the amazing women I met on our journey. In 1985, Libby Riddles was the first woman to win the Iditarod. She gave a presentation on board the ship. And Melis Cody, the Mt. McKinley climber who has reached the summit of the highest mountain in North America 20 times. I will never forget these inspiring women, so filled with passion and determination. That these women have survived adversity to fulfill their passions, well, It's a God Thing.

We ate lunch, napped and checked out the consignment shop that Judy Dressendorfer, the real estate agent, told us about. It was a real find and opposite the biggest WalMart I have ever seen. It was a plaza in it's own right.

We met Judy at 4 pm in Spanish Springs to hammer out an offer. We know there is another low ball one in the works but we are not getting into ...

... and Shirley are playing an Executive Course (Chula Vista) with a late tee-off of 4:40 we had decided tonight would be a good one for dinner out anyway.

I think Shirley is enjoying bombing around in the golf cart (especially as the names Doug and Ann are on the front so they travel incognito) and ours isn't even one of the fancier ones. As she said some of these seem to have more pep than the ones back home.
