... peaceful. While Vitas made their way to the playground, Mum and I went to find what is believed to be the second largest Live Oak tree in Florida. What a monster!

We joined Vitas at the playground on the swings and slides. Even Emily joined in!

Mum arrived to very nice weather and but for her last day and a half she largely enjoyed sun and warmth. The nights get chilly however and so we did not frequent the Squares for their nightly entertainment very often. We did get to Brownstone one afternoon for the "Country Comes to the City" exhibit. There were few "farmers" per se but thankfully the University of Florida had loads of exhibits. We also attended the "Welcome" night at Colony Cottage ...

... we got to Ukulele's the others was already eating, we didn't bother as we had had a burger at the Sail inn, however Fred and the guys gave us their fresh peel n eat shrimps and onion rings so we didn't need anything else. After a few beers we set off for home, Dan and Michelle came with we and we spent the rest of the evening chatting and drinking sitting out on the pool deck. Great day, only one more to go ...

... to Sumter Landing for one of the two Tartan Day Celebrations. We found a spot to sit in the shade but the pipers never came to our side of the Square. They performed much like when Richard and I had seen them earlier - playing on and on without announcing what they were playing. Mum and I left before the second act as we were tiring of the pipes.
