... curtains open for a change. That was a real treat because in some of the marinas, you can be surrounded by boats, front, port, starboard and stern. We are talking boats literally just a few feet away from your boat. If you want any privacy, you have to keep curtains closed all the time or risk seeing or being seen at awkward moments. Disembarking from one of the best weeks of holidays I have ever had.
Wish could stay another week. Not much sleep last night. Off the ship and had hire car by 8.30
Bit of a jigsaw puzzle getting all our luggage in the boot. But we 2 clever girls. We did it.

A total rainout day today. Optimistically, we drove to Amelia Island, Florida and Fernandina Beach. I am sure on a sunny day, it would be spectacular. We walked around the quaint town, did some driving sightseeing and had lunch at the beach. It pretty much rained all day, but at least it wasn't cold or windy.
