What a busy day. Maybe too busy. It all ended with Abby falling asleep on the bed in back, Talbot curled up at the "dining room" table, and Charlie singing the theme song of Spiderman while he sucking his thumb, while Doug counted buffalo and I muttered to myself like a crazy lady, due to exhaustion.

Just about an hour from Custer State Park we found a nice place to stay for one night (our reservations are not until tomorrow) - it had a great creek running through it - Allison made her first friend and hung out playing for hours (nice) - and we started to watch "Dances With Wolves" instead of a campfire because it rained.

Lovely place. Very friendly staff - breakfast was perfect! And having the trail right behind it made my morning run perfect!
