Sorry I haven't posted sooner - the wifi is spotty here in Wisconsin Dells (or more at our hotel), so I am posting from my mom's computer instead.
Yesterday, we left Minneapolis at around 11am and, with a short stop for lunch, made it to Wisconsin Dells for 3:15pm. We checked into our hotel at the Wilderness Hotel and it was safe to say we were quite overwhelmed by the size and scope of Wilderness! The Resort can hold up to 10,000 people and has at least 5 water parks ...

took a ride through the upper dells with a couple of stops for short walks at
Stand Rock and Witches Gulch. We
didn’t get done until about 4 pm and it turned out to be too late to find a
State Park or campground that wasn’t already full or reserved so we headed
south about 15 miles to Devils Lake ...
