Sorry I haven't posted sooner - the wifi is spotty here in Wisconsin Dells (or more at our hotel), so I am posting from my mom's computer instead.

Yesterday, we left Minneapolis at around 11am and, with a short stop for lunch, made it to Wisconsin Dells for 3:15pm. We checked into our hotel at the Wilderness Hotel and it was safe to say we were quite overwhelmed by the size and scope of Wilderness! The Resort can hold up to 10,000 people and has at least 5 water parks ...

... a bit of driving we decided to take a break and stretch. We stopped at a Dairy Queen where the family got a Blizzard to share, a Peanut Buster for Mom and an Arctic Rush to share. The service was very slow but Mom said it was the best and most peanut-laden Peanut Buster she had ever had and was well worth the wait.

We drove past huge farms, more huge farms, then even more huge farms. Some of them even decided to do ...

... back to the hotel around 4pm to change and head out for dinner. We went back to Wisconsin Dells and had dinner at Buffalo Phil's. It was a big place very near to Great Wolf Lodge and as you walked in it looked like a huge lodge. Our drinks were brought to us by a large electric train. Those servers must love their job! Dad wants to run the train if we ever open a restaurant. Toward the end of our meal (which was quite delicious) the train ran around ...

... br> in the morning. Since I'm typing this we can assume we did but we
need to get that looked at in case there's a leak.

We drove from the campground and saw an
Outlet Mall so thought we'd stop for an hour since it was almost
lunchtime. Four hours later we surfaced. Time seemed to be on a
different dimension or at least it sucked a few hours that we didn't
    realise. But there ...

    ... dog jumping
to Stand Rock and that dog is still doing it now. Seaman was allowed on the tour boat and we
took a ride through the upper dells with a couple of stops for short walks at
Stand Rock and Witches Gulch. We
didn’t get done until about 4 pm and it turned out to be too late to find a
State Park or campground that wasn’t already full or reserved so we headed
south about 15 miles to Devils Lake ...
