... of which the young officer spoke...were, without a doubt, medical emergencies! Perseverance…and just plain stubbornness paid off, and we finally reached the pinnacle. It was a nice view, for sure, but I have a whole new understanding of that label “hot mess”…cause I WAS one when I reached the top of that vista. One thing I learned today though, when they tell you that going down is easier…NOT true!! The only thing going for me on the ...

... the middle of the road and politely motion you to merge. But after figuring it out, I started to get the hang of it. Drive fast and aggressive, and hug that center line. A crazed look in your eye and honking helps too. Well, I still lose most of the battles, but I'm getting better! Don't get me wrong, the people here are very nice, it's just the way they drive. OK, next! Let's meet Damien the French guy again. Dominica doesn't really have marinas so I didn't try to hard to find sailing boats, knowing that my ferry ticket was bought anyway...

... get $US25 for our outside cabin !!!

Showed that to Doug when I returned to the cabin and I looked at Lemon Laptop, turned it on and noticed that it was still at the troubleshooting page. Saw that there were no bars on the icon – it may have had a skull and cross bones over them for all I know - but it wasn’t working. I clicked on the troubleshooter again and again it came up with a few things that I couldn’t do - eg for the first time ...

... Trafalgar Falls and the Botanical Gardens. Leaving Morne Bruce, we pulled up right in front of the cruise ship dock, and Roystand told us he'd pick us up in an hour, giving us time to explore the very walkable city. No cruise ship today, so we didn't have to deal with throngs of yokels - whoohoo! Jen and I split up from Dick and Sue now, and wandered around, looking at open markets, tourist shops, and street life in Roseau. It's a pretty chaotic place, and to be honest not ...
