    ... let alone go to, so its kind of neat. We get to use our bicycles a lot more as we ride to all of the real close ones and now we are going to take our bikes with us when we go out to an area then we can ride from cache to cache if the terrain allows it. In some places you just have to walk as there are a lot of caches located on the many, many hiking trails around here, sure does get the heart rate up climbing the mountain trails. Case ...

    Well Happy New Year to all of you! We hope that the New Year brings you much happiness and joy as well as good health. Speaking of New Years, we are off to Pasadena California on the 31st to see the Tournament of Roses Parade as it has been on Angele's bucket list for a long time so as we are only 6 hours or so away we are heading over to take it in.     ... my plane left for the mainland on the next morning so I had to sleep at the airport. I looked for a sleeping place at about 2 o'clock in the morning. Several people were lying on the ground or on benches so I did the same (it’s handy if you have all your camping stuff with you). At 4:30 the security woke me up because they didn’t want people to sleep on the ground after they opened the airport. I looked for a bench to sleep another hour before I got on the plane.

    ... it was enough as it was the first time we golfed in a few months. We managed to play decent enough to not embarrass ourselves. We had met this couple at a park function last Thursday night, a Rib cookout, ribs, beans, potato salad, buns, etc. for $10 a person, pretty good deal and great ribs. We even brought ribs home for leftovers the next night.

    ... 50 minutes to descend. We went to the hotel to check in and have a shower. We lazed around until 7:45 PM before heading out to find a restaurant. The one we chose was about 0.3 miles from the hotel here in Scottsdale called The Grapevine. We've asked many people such as other hikers and Arizona people that have lived here all of their lives and nobody only one hiker saw a rattle snake and that was many years ago. We are here for nine days and ...
