    ... floods and devastation. A lot has happened while we've been away but we have been proud of the way our state has rebounded and are moving forward.

    We're excited to be getting home tomorrow. We’ve been very fortunate through all our travels and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with our friends and family. We’re glad I wrote the blog because it’s already hard to remember some of the names of places we’ve been!

    ... to civilization, we headed down the scenic trail, the one that was supposed to take us up to the highest point in the park for a scenic view of the lake. Well, the trail certainly took us to the highest point in the park. The top of the mountain, however, did not live up to the scenic view we had been hoping for.     ... 24 hours though so we may have been wanting to buy
    milk at 3am and it may have been taking us a realllllly long time to
    decide if there were any other grocery items we needed to add to our
    shopping list?? As it turned out, we didn't get disturbed but Ben and
    I didn't sleep especially well that night, both waiting for a knock
