    ... for your business on the main drag. I also happened on a real gold pan - just in case for future use. We were lucky to make the acquaintance with the owners of Aska Lodge, a premier bed-and-breakfast just outside of town. Words cannot describe our stay so check out the photos.

    Lasting memories: curvy drives along mountain sides, downed forests due to ice, hiking trails with surprises around every corner, good food and a private tub in our log cabin.

    ... I woke up at Stover around 7 and was able to get moving by 8:30. The day started off gold and wet, but the sun came out in the afternoon and it turned out to be an awesome day. I hiked a total of around 13 miles on Tuesday, and they were tough. The tallest mountain of the day was Sassafras which included a 600 foot climb followed by another mountain. Needless to say by the time I got to Gooch Shelter I was exhausted. I have never in my life been happier eating ...

    ... he would actually go on this crazy adventure and he definitely proved me wrong. He told me at the beginning of January that he decided he wanted to go. In less than 3 months he researched and bought all of his gear and has a very nice set up.
