We have successfully returned from a four night/ five day trip in the boundary waters. We survived the mosquitoes, leaches, bloody noses, portages, and thunderstorms! We caught one pike and saw a moose on our drive out of the boundary waters.

... Superior. It was built in 1910 after 29 ships were lost in1905. It gets rough in the lake. Lots to see there.
We stayed at a lovely although slightly run-down camp on a beautiful lake. They call Minnesota the land of 10,000 lakes and we have seen many of them. It is a beautiful state.I must admit that the most I knew of it was that it gets below 40 degrees F in winter.
... a wonderful morning. It was a foggy day, with lots of moisture in the air, at times hard to tell if it was spray from the falls or drizzle from the sky. In the end, love the way the falls show through the mist in the photos.
