      ... the Log Slide at Grand Sable Dunes. They are very high and very steep. Did not attempt to go down as the climb back up would have been very taxing. Tom, Mia and Torgny and Sarah met up with us here.

      ... real nice ride to the Tahquamenon Falls State Park. It is known for its waterfalls and they are just breathtaking. We hiked both the upper and lower falls and took tons of pictures.       ... Dam. We learned an important lesson about our GPS- the distance is "as a the crow flies" and what we thought would be 4 miles round trip ended up being almost 7 miles, which would have been fine except that is the furthest Lou had hiked on his new knee.
