Life on the ranch
... had a swim at a lake that was green - clean though, don't worry - where we had lunch. No idea what this lake was called, stopped at so many during out time in Canada its hard to keep up. Cold though, so swam from one side to the other which was a lot further than it looked. Glad I'm a halfway decent swimmer! Attempted to play frisbee out there however I definitely was at a height disadvantage. Nicely refreshed, it was back in the van for the rest of the drive.

Giddy up
... a bit scary knowing there were bears, cougars and lynx in the woods all around us. It was completely brilliant though; I hadn't known what to expect from the horse ride, and especially when they put us on the horses with no hats or other protective gear I assumed that we would just be walking in a field or something, not completing a challenging and thrilling trail. This task was made a bit more complicated by the pouring rain that we endured for most of today's drive. We made it to Kamloops around 2pm but the rain was still ...
Mt Robson and Wells Gray
... Putting in the tent pegs proved to be difficult in the hard rocky soil, so we had a little help from the Park Warden. Because we had some time on our hands we decided to head across the way to Helmcken Falls. They were absolutely huge at 141m almost 3 times that of Niagara Falls. The roar and steam given off as the water thundered down on the rocks below was quite impressive.
In the morning, we got up unusually early because Steffie ...
