    ... t know if it might be a coyote or wolf. Later in the day, Nick sent me a message . . . that his neighbors confirmed that it was a grey wolf!!

    We did see lots of chipmunks, squirrels . . . and a deer that makes regular visits (they call her Alice!).

    As we approached The Mighty Mac, we couldn't get a pictured at some of the pullouts because of the fog. It didn't clear to get a good view until just we entered the approach!

    ... Inn at Gaylord has changed a bit over the years too. We were glad to crawl into our beds at 1am Michigan time!

    pps. Did you know they dont sell beer in gas station convenience stores in Michigan? Since I refused to go to WalMart I had to treat myself to ice cream (which was Mom's first choice anyway...)

    During our stay at Black Lake Lou tested out something besides pizza in the dutch oven and we learned some important lessons while trying to cook a pot roast:
    - High winds burn your charcoal bricquets very quickly and thus do not let the food come to temperature to cook correctly.
    - We need to build some type of wind screen to help coals burn evenly in windy ...

    Weather threatened rain all day. Very windy and chilly. Took a short drive down the back road to fill gas at a nearby town. Back to the RV for lunch and spent some time doing laundry.     More exploring today. A little rainy so not a good biking day so we took a drive west to Petosky. Quick stop for a yummy ice cream cone (Traverse City Cherry!) at Kilwins Chocolate Kitchen.
