    ... Inn at Gaylord has changed a bit over the years too. We were glad to crawl into our beds at 1am Michigan time!

    pps. Did you know they dont sell beer in gas station convenience stores in Michigan? Since I refused to go to WalMart I had to treat myself to ice cream (which was Mom's first choice anyway...)

    ... One other thing to be aware of- small spaces with fresh fruit/veggies on the counter are good breeding grounds for fruit flies. We found this the hard way, especially since it was warm weather still. We tried the apple-cider vinegar in the coffee cup with plastic wrap method but in the end found that the fly strips works best to eliminate them. And keeping all veggies and fruit in the refridgerator or in enclosed containers is a must.

    Weather threatened rain all day. Very windy and chilly. Took a short drive down the back road to fill gas at a nearby town. Back to the RV for lunch and spent some time doing laundry.     Day trip to see the locks @ Sault St. Marie. 95 miles north. Over the Mackinac Bridge - 5 miles across the Straits. Ya hey der - we're up in the Yooper! In Sault St. Marie we found a BP station for JD and got the mud washed off the truck. Stopped at the visitor center for a map then visited the Tower of History for a view of the area from up ...
